I asked for
A Bill Bryson book
The Hairy Dieters book
A cd
2 DVDs (from DH)
A DVD from my parents.
I got the books from DH but not the DVDs or CD (he forgot I asked for them!)
but did also get a camera for recording my car journeys. Handy if you have an accident apparently.
I got the DVD from my parents, along with a top, a watch and a scarf.
From my sister I got some pretty earrings and necklaces.
From my other sister I got some chocs and something else (can't remember at the mo)
Pretty happy to be honest.
I also have a pile of chocolates from the kids in my class and tomorrow will be gift exchanging with the MIL and she always buys me a mix of lovely things and tat.
Can't wait!

To be fair, the coat and trainers were ordered online and just didn't fit so had to go back. I'll be going out to the sales to get them with dp's credit card
I didn't ask for anything. DH got me nothing.
The PILs gave me money and DS1 (bless him) bought me some mittens and a bracelet. He used his own money and chose them himself and they are lovely. My family are coming tomorrow. I dread to think what they'll have got me (my mother has a track record for buying me things that my sister would like, but which she knows I wouldn't).
I've put lots of alcohol in the fridge in preparation for tomorrow!
Didn't ask for anything.

Feeling very lucky!
I'm with fuzzpig - anything I genuinely want I buy for myself so I am difficult to buy for and I don't really care if I get anything or not. I got some cds, books, dvds, sweeties and a voucher for Debenhams - I am happy with that
I do however love buying stuff and seeing the kids and OH faces.
...and I know it makes me sound like a twat and goody two shoes - I'm not at all - I would probably be described as cynical and hard hearted most of the time.....but it's Christmas
Bump now it is Christmas Day.
I asked for a pair of nice knickers and some chocolate. I got both
.
I asked for a watch and know its under the tree waiting for Xmas morning along with a few other surprises
I have not asked for anything for myself - I prefer surprises. DH and I really just do little things, I know it includes DVDs, something from America (?!) and I think a cuddly Minion? I know my mum is giving us some money though as she hates shopping unless it's for herself
My very generous friend, with whom we are spending Xmas eve, insisted on me asking for something - I am always
about asking for specific things, but eventually we agreed on paint! So in the new year our bedrooms will be finally decorated, which is really exciting!
I know it's a sickening cliche but I genuinely get more excited by choosing stuff - especially for DH and the DCs - than getting presents myself.
What did you ask for?
What did you actually get?
