Which food do you always make as it tastes better?And which do you buy as their is no difference in taste?I'm thinking of making bread sauce for example, but considering is it worth it?
JoInScotland - I would love that pasta sauce recipe. I'm a big fan of the slow cooker but do not have enough things to cook in it!
I'm a recent convert to AB maple parsnips too! they really are on a par to fresh.Made my own bread sauce today, absolutely divine! Thanks to this thread.
I couldn't believe how nice Aunt Bessie parsnips are. I still feel a slight twinge of guilt when I buy them but I soon overcome that on a Sunday when I don't have to stand peeling the bloody things
