Christmas

Oh Lordy - lots of tears today over something that DD desperately wants...

...and we've got it for her, but can't tell her as it is a surprise from her sister for Christmas day. I can't even archly say "Well just wait to see what Father Christmas will bring," because that will give the game away.

I wouldn't mind if it was for the fact that it is a VILE and DISGUSTING tee shirt from Asda. Something like (but not exactly like)...

I'd give it to her now as it's not a massive gift then boil wash it before Christmas day and have to throw it so she isn't seen wearing it in any photos

That is quite eye-catching and vomit-inducing. My DD would love it. She seems at age 7 to want to dress like a cross between Pat Butcher and Liz McDonald. I have compromised on a pair of leopard skin boots.

That is one fugly ass t-shirt. Wolef for wee ones.

At least she has a distinct sense of personal style Grin

Dd seems to share your dd's dodgy sense of style as she would like this Shock I've managed to convince her that they are in adult sizes only Grin

Oh bless! I think you posted that abomination on another thread didn't you 2kids?

Did she get all upset in the shop because you STILL wouldn't buy it for her?

She is going to be over the moon on Xmas day though, her face will be a picture :o

May I suggest Santa brings the rest of you some sunglasses...

Oh dear! OP you are a wonderful mum, I couldnt bring myself to part with cash for it ;)

My DD has her heart set on a furry dalmatian patterned coat in H&M, I have managed to convince her that it doesn't come in her size and resisted the urge to tell her I would not be seen dead walking about with a mini Cruella DeVil lookalike

My DD would love that.

However what she is getting is a life sized ride-on pony, which is what she has been lusting after for months. It arrived today and is currently hidden in the garage, cunningly disguised by a paddling pool.

Yes I did fuzzpig.
And yes, she is going to be elated.
(The rest of us less so once she starts wearing it - hopefully she'll spill her Christmas dinner down it and it will be relegated to the laundry basket)
