Playmobile and Charley bear plane. Also wants a real life fireman Sam but then so do I Grin

Grin If only hey.

Ds2 lusts after those deeply crappy fireman sam toys, but if they even look shit and crappy in the adverts, then he has no chance, plus we already have 4 flipping fire engines pffft.

The main present is the Imaginext castle, which he "wanted" for weeks and weeks, he is now all meh about it and it wasn't flipping cheap. Should I take it back?

and yes, my DS went on and on and on about a sodding duplo castle, they are discontinued, it took me 3 months to track one down, and now he doesnt want it - so Im ebaying it.

That rescue station does look good, where on earth were you when I was choosing izzyin

Will have a chat with dp tomorrow.

I'm sure he will like the castle, and imaginext toys are generally robust, but hmm that does look good. I think I may be more fickle than my 3yo.

vienetta I have bought some cheap second hand playmobil figures - if you get it - I'd use what it came with now and then get some extra figures after Christmas - when they are a lot cheaper to buy

My DS (will be 3.4) hasn't asked for anything, as he has a severe speech delay, so I am enjoying probably the last year when I can get him whatever I want Wink

Main present is a Playmobil castle to share with his big sister. They are also getting a big pack of Lego bricks from my very generous friend who wants to relive his childhood :o Friend's mum (also a dear friend, we are spending Xmas eve with the two of them) is still asking us to choose what to get. I'm thinking something from the 'build it' range (like meccano) at ELC?

He's getting a couple of very simple board games, a floor puzzle and a road 'jigsaw' by orchard games - it's got 20 pieces of road in different shapes and you can make loads of different configurations, and then you can drive toys cars on it. A couple of crafty bits too.

I'm getting the Haba game 'animal upon animal' - as a family present, but specifically because it is one we can all play as DS will be able to follow it.

My DS was silent on the christmas topic and today wants a toy computer (he saw a vtech thing in a shop) which he won't get as we've already got toy phones/DD's nintendo etc.

So far we have a pirate dressing up outfit, Zog and a peppa pig DVD. Have ordered Toy Story 3 binoculars but they are coming from the States so no idea if they will arrive on time (we're in Australia)....am interested to hear any other ideas!

When DS was 3 he got (Christmas/birthday) a wooden garage, marble run, some playmobil, Octonauts octopod, dressing up stuff, orchard toy games and books.

A wooden kitchen - he heads straight for them whenever we go into any toyshop. His gran has bought him a recycling lorry.

He's inherited all his older sister's toys so doesn't want for much - firm favourites are Playmobil, Duplo/Lego, toy cars and garage, and a marble run.

Playmobil zoo and zoo vehicle, hope it's the right choice! (All those little bits scare me).

Your lists sound lovely, I'm chortling about the doggy doo game being the best thing ever, oh well that elc thing is out of stock so ds2 will have to lump his castle.

He also has a scooter, lego duplo, scooby doo truck, building blocks, take along thomas cheapie set and a little cash register/shopping trolley/play food. Does that sound ok?

He will get a stocking with bits in, maybe some books etc and some slippers from his nan, that will be his lot.

Who is charley bear? Think that one has passed us by.

Ds has Imaginext batcave and batmobile (family buying jail and joker's house to go with it), playmobil camper van and fire engine, couple of games, some craft stuff and books and bizarrely one of those furreal type cats. Which he wants the most of anything. Even though its horrific and appears to be possessed.

Over the past 2 years my son who is just turned 4 has amassed almost the entire fireman Sam collection of vehicles/ houses. He absolutely loves them and plays with them everyday.

This year he is getting playmobil police station, more fireman Sam stuff, jigsaws and some Lego.
