What do you want for Christmas?

Every year I struggle on what to ask for. Not because I have everything-far from it, but because dp will not buy me things like a new purse/bag, underwear, socks, clothes - anything that can be considered 'girly' he will also not buyme anything for the house, such as a new toaster which I want. He will not let me buy things for myself to wrap up either. So so far the only things I've asked for is The Big Bang Theory box set and an external filter for my fish tank (which is a bit too expensive, so doubt I'd get that) So looking for inspiration!

I want some new PJ trousers or a onesie and some funky underwear! I prefer choosing that sort of thing myself though as I'm fussy with what I wear (in terms of fit and comfort rather than label, I'm planning on going to Asda!)

I will get DH and I some jammies for Xmas eve too (we've done this for the DCs for a few years, but I want to share the joy with us too!) but I have a feeling I may get a onesie from one of my DSCs! If not I will get myself one after.

He doesn't like to buy anything "girly" because he's embarrassed (i know i know) He will get me what i want if its easy for him to get, and not "embarrassing" for him, but theres not a lot i do want.

I'd like my vagina back.

Failing that, a job. Or money.

Oh, it was a serious questions? Um... er... some books, some earrings, some fabric to make lovely things with (eg new sofa cushions and baby clothes). A designated table for my sewing machine Smile

I have just sent dp a link to some gorgeous rocket dog boots i'd like for Christmas.

It would require no effort or thinking for him to order them so am rather hoping I will find them under the tree!

I'm hopeless at suggesting stuff I want because if I really want something I buy it for myself when I want it. It's double trouble as my birthday is Christmas day too and I have my adult children asking for suggestions too.
I want the David Walliams and David Mitchell biographies (books not on my Kindle) but that's about it.

I have no idea.
If I want something I buy it. Nothing I need tbh.

No books i want (dont get time to read them, i haven't finished the ones he got me 2 Christmases ago (Stephen King ones) I'm not fussed on DVD's (he knows i want Zombie movies though) Its pretty sad but i dont really have a hobby apart from my fish. Oh a new ornament for my tank would be good, but i'd have to pick the one i want. I'd love to get a surprise Christmas morning, but he usually only gets what i ask for. He's hopeless. I did actually say we'll only buy the kids this year and get us something in the sales, but he said no because he wants stuff Hmm

I always buy what I want & then DH wraps it up in (my Grin) wrapping paper. I've had too many 'surprises' Hmm in 24 years of marriage that it is far, far easier to get my own - and DH gets his own, usually some wierd fishing equipment that I wouldn't have a clue about.

Wtf is up with men who won't buy feminine things? Perhaps you should refuse to buy them anything manly.

I've asked mine for the new book from the Hairy Bikers. And as I've just had to return my digital camera because mine was faulty, I'd quite like a replacement one of those.
