Delicious AND healthy (they're refined-sugar free), this is a simple recipe the kids can help with for a quick snack or scrumptious breakfast. Simply add oats to a mashed, ripe banana, separate into eight biscuit shapes - and bake.

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 90g oats

1. Preheat oven to 180°C while you mash the banana in a bowl with a fork, add oats and mix until combined.

2. Split the mixture into 8 servings and shape into flat discs, placing them on a baking tray that’s been lined with greaseproof-paper.

3. Bake for 15 minutes. Leave to cool on a wire rack.

  • Add cinnamon into the mixture for a little bit of spice.
  • Use gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version.
