20 great half-term activities in London
There’s loads to do in and around London this half-term. Kids up to age 12 will love the free Imagine Children’s Festival at the South Bank Centre, where they can meet their favourite authors and take part in creative workshops. Elsewhere, Pickled Pepper Books in Crouch End is running comic making and science workshops, and the YMCA Holiday Club in Kingston is a fantastic playscheme which can be booked on a daily or weekly basis.

This performance workshop is based on the David Walliams's book World's Worst Children. Kids can sing, dance and act all day, with an opportunity to showcase new skills to parents in a performance at the end.

Family fun days at the Grant Museum Bloomsbury
The Grant Museum is home to some weird and wonderful wildlife. Come along in half-term and take part in fun activities. This event is free and there is no need to book – just drop in between 1-4.30pm.
