If the thought of all that Easter egg packaging is making your inner eco-warrier grimace, assuage your guilt at this fun craft and upcycling workshop – and leave with a cute sock bunny or upcycled Easter basket. If you're in Sheffield, coo at some cute baby lambs – and in Manchester, pack kids off to the Tatton Park disco and Easter egg hunt while you enjoy the spring splendour of the grounds.
Easter activities in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
Easter chocolate is guaranteed to make even the most placid child a little, erm, excitable. This rock-climbing class in Glasgow will burn off some of that energy, while Aberdeen locals can get kids out of the house and learning how to grow plants at a super gardening club. If exercising the brain is more your thing, Belfast's Miniversity Easter Camp will transform your offspring into pint-sized tech genii.
