Work

Should I accept a boring new job?

I work for a small company and have been looking for a new job, mainly to achieve better pay and potential for progression.

I have been offered a job that will do both these things and is a step up from my current role. However, now the offer is there, I'm worried that the role sounds quite boring and there's no potential to work for home.

Should I stop being precious, accept the job and be grateful? Or keep looking for a more interesting job (if they exist) that I'm more enthusiastic about?

I'd be grateful for any advice anyone might have, please.

It depends on what you value. If it's a boring job, it might mean you'll get more opportunities for growth and development if there's spare time? However, if you value WFH, then you might want to stay where you are. Personally, I can never go back to working in an office no matter what package I'm offered. I've built a whole routine around WFH and this is my life now :)
