I need a career! Home learning, has anyone done it and recommend?

I’m 27 (28 this year) with 2 children (6&3).

I left school at 16 with no qualifications and got a job in an admin role. Stayed there until I had my 2 children, had a break and now I’m doing admin somewhere else. I just feel as though anyone could do my job and I want an actual career.

My problem is that I don’t live anywhere near a college/university so my only option is home learning but any of the courses I see that I’m interested in are like stepping stones. Telling you on completion of the course you may need more studying.

I have looked on the open university and can’t really see much. I’m really good with numbers so would be looking into accounting.

Has anyone here done an online course and got a degree etc?
