Getting new clients

Morning All...
I am looking to go back to being a self employed bookkeeper. I am qualified with years of experience and have been self employed before but, have more recently been employed.
What is the best way to approach clients? Email, letter or phone call? I was thinking of putting a general letter together introducing myself with an outline of my qualifications and skills with an offer to discuss anything further...

It's probably best to advertise in your local newspaper.

You need to familiarise yourself with the rules around cold calling/cold emailing etc. If you google it there's plenty of information around.
