Hi Guys
So the dolls house idea (thread below) has gone into research mode and will post some pic's soon. The other start up is close to being launched and wondered if you would take a look at the website to see if it needs changing? I have been doing everything through etsy so far but wanted my own website too.

is it easy to navigate and does it explain what it does quickly?

What do you think of the idea?

I hope i am allowed to post links but if not you can google interiorhack

Great idea but prices are way too high if you only get a sticker for that. If you're going to spend that much you may as well buy nicer furniture in the first place.

Three thoughts....

  1. Great idea!
  2. The top of the website (on my phone anyway) is very busy. You can't see the video properly because it's hidden behind the menu and website name. Can you move the menu/name down a bit?
  3. Your price point is way too high. I think you need to cut your prices in half.

Is the sticker 40 quid???? Do you get the furniture with it too?

Hi there Smile

I would say that your website doesn't immediately scream what it does/what the product is about. The design of it is neither interiors or childlike in nature. In the footer section, I'd say having a repeat of all the navigation you have in your header menu is unnecessary. Also, when you click on the box for reviews, it takes you to the shopping page.

Have you done research on SEO or enlisted a web designer who specialises in it? I only ask because when you google "interior hack" (people will search for it as two separate words), your website doesn't come up. By searching "interiorhack", one of your blog posts ranks on the third page of google. Just be sure that your meta description and urls have enough keywords in them and are the right length to be picked up when Google crawls.
