I’ve just come across this post! How did everyone weight loss plan go? I’m currently 10 weeks pp and need some motivation to shift this baby weight! :)

My baby is 6 months and I need to lose about 2 stone, it’s just so hard to get into a healthy routine when you’re so sleep deprived :(

@Bettyboop82 well done!!

A good trick to eat within those hours, how are you finding it? I might try that but worried I'll end up scoffing a load of unnecessary stuff at 5:55pm to keep me going.

3lb down here in 11 days so 10stone9 today. Am only eating between 10am and 6pm, trying to make healthier choices and drink more water, nothing drastic as am breastfeeding and would like to keep the weight off long term.

Been signed off today! Hurrah!

Planning to do first couch to 5k run on Sunday between feeds while DH has the kids. Not sure how I'm going to fit two other runs in during the week.

Have also got rid of all cake and biscuits but planning to make some Joe Wicks sugarless banana and pecan cupcakes for when I need my sweet fix. Also found these "healthy" dessert ideas: https://www.getthegloss.com/news/healthy-snacks-and-dessert-ideas-by-joe-wicks-body-coach?eucookieebannerread=1

I’m down another pound this morning which is small but going in the right direction! How’s everyone doing?

@July2020baby yes it certainly looks like that from this thread!
@LassoOfTruth same happened to me when I returned to work last time. That’s why I’m trying not to do too drastic a diet. If I just make small, realistic changes I may be more able to stick to a healthier diet long term (in theory!)

Do you think the average new mum has a stone/2 stone they want to lose after they’ve had their baby?

I’ve had an okay day today, mainly trying to stay away from the biscuits and not eat after dinner. Toddler at nursery today so did a fair bit of clearing out too (imminent house move). I walk every day but am a bit restricted on the days I have my toddler. Her endurance is good but she is only 2.5 after all. I lost loads of weight on maternity with her because she would only nap in the buggy and I would go for miles. Then I went back to work/my desk and piled half of it back on again 😂

Mac Donald’s to here today aha but I haven’t eaten much else at all and done about two hours worth of walking !

I’ve had granola with fruit and milk for breakfast, a McDonald’s happy meal with a Diet Coke at lunch and chicken curry with rice and cauliflower for tea. Believe it or not, this is pretty good compared to the amount of food I was eating a few weeks ago. I was literally inhaling biscuits and toast by the packet! No food after 6pm again. I was in the park with the kids all afternoon so feel like I’ve been more active than usual too xx how’s everyone else’s day been?

I’m doing hour long walks too for the last 3 days (thank god the weather is good at the moment), however I’m finding it hard as I have a 16 month old as well as a 3 month old and the older one can only last 40 mins in the pram before he starts whinging and crying to get out! I’m going to try to do the walks in the evening now so I can drop him home with DH. I think I need to do around 1.5-2 hours at least to get close to 10,000 steps.

I’m low carbing so today I’ve had two boiled eggs with butter for breakfast, beef burgers without the bun with some broccoli and chicken and veg for dinner.

It was my 3rd baby. 1st CSection.
Found recovery a lot more difficult than natural births. I'm fine now though & scar is great!
I'm 12 weeks post partum on Monday so looking forward to doing weights,HIIT etc!
Pram walks have been for about an hour most days.
Bit disappointed as no weight loss yet this week despite clean eating etc.
I am on my period though so wondering if that is slowing things?

What have you guys had for breakfast & planning for meals later etc?

I've just had x2 weetabix with semi milk this morning.

I’m in please! I’ve got just over three stone to lose. I’m breastfeeding a three month old so can’t do anything too drastic, but I’m strictly calorie counting and inputting everything on my lose it app!

@Bettyboop82 - were in full on survival mode just now! I'm sure it'll get easier as we all adjust. Twins must be a whole other level though.
Yeah it's the amount of prep and constant shopping that puts me of ww and sw.
I lost almost 5 stone a good few years ago on diet shakes / low carbing. Probably going to try that again as it's pretty easy to make up a shake twice a day and make a low/no carb dinner and add in carbs for DH & DS.

Hi everyone!!!! Can i join please? Although my baby is 16 months, maternity leave and lockdown did not help me in losing the baby weight. I am 14 stone and wast to lose 2 stone. I'm really struggling to stay motivated but I'm so miserable at the moment.

Bettyboop82 · 10/09/2020 01:14

@princessonabudget I don’t think I’ve got the time or energy to do all the prep that’s required for SW and have never tried Ww! How are you finding a baby and a 3yo? I’ve got 3yo twins and am solo a lot if the time too. Can’t believe how hard it is! I had no idea!

My pram walks are for about an hour but sometimes twice a day. Not planning on doing WW or SW but i order Gousto which i thinks pretty healthy as all meals are from scratch and they give you the correct portion sizes plus calories.

I'd like to join too please! 3.5 weeks post cs with my second son. Need to lose 2 stone. First step would be to quit my recently discovered chocolate biscuit addiction! I think it's the tiredness of a newborn and VERY active almost 3y/o boy whilst parenting almost singlehandedly (married to a farmer) meaning I just head for the quickest energy fix.
Anyone planning on using ww or slimming world?

My 2nd C section too. Found recovery much harder this time so still only able to do fairly gentle exercise

My wee girl is 15 weeks, I'm breastfeeding and need to lose 6 kg to get back to weigh at booking appointment, would like to lose another 10kg after that. I did IVF and hoping to try for a sibling so need to get the weight off. I did Cambridge plan before but can't do that while breastfeeding so going to try low carb.

Yeah this will be my second section.
