Diet/Exercise = NO POO!

I am on a diet. Low/almost no carbs. Lots of chicken and salad stuff, occasional Slim Fast (2/3 a week).

I am eating 1,000 calories a day less than I burn off. I am exercising most days (jogging/rowing and some light weights). I always walk 10,000+ steps a day.
Daily calorie intake is between 1,000-1,300 - but always staying at least 1,000 under calories burned.

I lost 15 lbs in a month. Last 2 weeks nothing. I have stuck at 11st 11lbs - ideal weight is about 10 stone. I have also not been for a proper poo for quite a few days. I realise there's probably not much to come out, but I feel bloated.

Any low-carb food suggestions to get things moving?

First thing to say, constipation is not about not going - it's about finding it difficult to go, or finding it painful to go.

Second thing - if you're low carbing then you should be following a high fat diet - high fat will help to keep things moving.

... along with lots of water.

In addition, plenty of green vegetables for their fibre content.

If that fails, a strong coffee can help, or a high strength vitamin C tablet - or in extremis you could try sugar-free gummy bears ...

if doing a diet like Atkins you need to take psyllium husks or linseed or similar (with lots of water)

Carbs make you poo by bulking it up. Eat apples / dates / wholemeal bread / potatoes with plenty of water and you should be fine.

You need more fibre!!! Beans are the fibre powerhouse. Avocados are good. If all else fails, take Fybogel.

Meat has no fibre so you need to eat greens, the darker the better, and I know it is not really a popular veggie in UK but artichoke is a fibre powerhouse, so is the green part of the leeks (roast them in the oven) and good news raspberries .
Drink a lot of water and maybe stay clear of artificial food, shakes included, until the situation is solved
