My go has suggested I give it a try. My bum is nearly 40 (Hans head in shame)

A couple of questions
Success stories anyone?
How much faster can you lose weight
I hear side effects are runny and unpredictable poos, is this strictly true

Any anecdotal advice welcome. I am pretty desperate. I did ask for a slimming world referral but as I am not down for an op I did not meet the criteria
