Weight loss plateau - little but still to lose

I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can lose the last 5 or 6 lbs? I've dieted a few times over the last few years (after each of my 3 children!) in different ways (5:2, Weight Watchers online, W8) and have always got down to a healthy BMI but not quite my pre-kids weight (and always still with noticeable belly fat). I've just done same again although my youngest child is now 3, so this is not a post-baby diet, just an attempt to lose the weight that had crept back on.

For the last couple of weeks I've been stuck at about 6lbs over where I want to be (although I'm pretty much at my lowest pre-children point). To be honest I don't really care what I weigh (and my current BMI is is 21.6, which is fine on paper), but my tummy is still flabby, and my waist measurement too high (I'm a really typical apple shape, and carry all of my weight around my middle).

Any suggestions? I do a reasonable amount of exercise (active lifestyle, on my feet most of the day, a couple of circuit style classes and a couple of 7-10k runs a week) and don't feel I can increase this time-wise. I also don't feel that I can eat less! I've been doing 16:8 and low(ish) carbing, and generally being very, very good about sugar and fat intake. It's a bit depressing! I'd just like to shift the last bit of 3 babies belly, and I don't understand why the scales are no longer shifting - I definitely eat considerably less than 2000 calories a day - probably between 1200 and 1400.

I have the same issue; about 5lbs left to lose (and I'm apple shaped too so my stomach always looks big even when I'm slim).

I think for me I need to cut back on booze and weekend treats/meals out as that is where I seem to slip up.

Not sure if that applies to you.

It is hard to lose that last bit but I'm just glad that I'm over a stone lighter than at the start of this year.
