Stopped losing now I have started exercising?

hi,

I've been watching what I eat for around 6 weeks and found I was losing weight around 2 lb a week, I started to add exercise in a couple of weeks ago and haven't changed the eating at all but now my weight has gone back up by a couple of pounds and isn't dropping again?
Should I stick to the exercise? I've only been doing my exercise bike and a few Pilates sessions and a few YouTube workout tutorials.
Any ideas?

They say - Diet to look good in clothes, Exercise to feel good in clothes and look good naked.

Exercise and healthy eating go hand in hand for living a long and fulfilled life. If you get bored of youtube, come join my weight loss tribe on Flex TV, always happy to add more.

Of course stick to the exercise, it's not all about weight. Keep it up and you'll notice a difference in your body shape not just how heavy you are. I used to go to slimming world but stopped losing because I also did weights, muscle building. The SW leader said it's just one of those things but not to let it put me off SW or exercising as both together are so so healthy.

Well I've had the coil fitted around 4 months ago so my periods are still eractic so I haven't got a clue! Yeah I will carry on was just wondering why I've stopped losing when I am burning more calories than before will see if it evens itself out.

Are you near AF? That could be causing weight gain from water retention. Also, when you start a new exercise regime your muscles tend to hold onto water for a bit so that they can repair themselves. After a few weeks (about 3-6) that will go away.

I would keep doing it. There are far more benefits from exercise than just weight loss.
