Before I had my dd my weight sat around 10/10 1/2 stone and I was a size 12 on the bottom and an 8 to 10 up top.
I was a big pregnant lady - had awful nausea that only stodge could stop so I ate lots of toast although went completely off chocolate etc.
When dd was born I slowly lost weight using slimming world and got back down to just under 11 stone. It was relatively easy and I wasn't exercising much at the time.
However I've gone off the wagon and despite trying to make an effort over the last month or so I'm now almost 12 stone.
I'm again doing slimming world or not via a group just online. I exercise 3 or 4 times a week - I run a couple of times(about 4k) and go to a couple of circuits classes and I've definitely seen an improvement in my arms - they are much slimmer as are my calves which were always big but my thighs and arse are getting bigger and I've got a wee bit of a tummy/love handles.
I'm not saying I'm doing everything perfectly but most week days I'm generally good - I do have a bowl of cereal for breakfast i.e. weetabix, fruit & fibre then yoghurt, fruit and a homemade lunch like soup and a healthy dinner. I'm certainly eating better than I was but seeing no progress. Weekends are a bit hit and miss but I still try to not go wild.
I'm going to try and get stricter with the diet - I've fallen off the wagon a bit as the lack of progress has made me think what's the point but I'm worried it won't make a difference.
I'm almost 35 now and I'm wondering if it's just my metabolism slowing down with age as eating like this and exercising this much has definitely allowed me to loose weight in the past!
Any suggestions on how to get back on track again are most welcome - new diet? Detox cleanse?
