Does anyone volunteer with a debt charity?

I have too much time on my hands and have always thought I'd like to help those who get into debt and need to sort a way out of it.
Does anyone do this that can advise where to go please?

You can volunteer with Citizens Advice or there are more specialist debt advice organisations such as Step Change. You would have to get accredited to offer debt advice (if not already) but you will be trained.

If you are christian, then Christians Against Poverty use volunteers alongside a debt coach to offer moral support and friendship (not advice) to someone getting debt help.
