Anyone volunteer for riding for the disabled?

I am starting a new job shortly which will give me a little more free time and I am considering applying to volunteer for riding for the disabled.
Wondering if anyone here currently volunteers or has in the past and how they find it?

I volunteer - well worth it even just for the exercise in walking the ponies or side walking the rider. You’ll lesrn a lor of stuff about stable management - grooming, tacking up, leading, horse health etc
