Cornwall cottage recommendations

Hi all.
Just come back from a glorious week in North Devon, we love it there, the big beautiful surfing beaches, smaller coves to explore and go crabbing, long coastal walks etc, however after 5 years to the same place thought we'd look further afield to Cornwall so looking early for cottages for next summer.
I know Cornwall a bit having stayed in bude and penzance area before and love porthcurno too but I'm having trouble finding cottages. Seem to keep finding searches on the cottages.com type sites which I find are quite old fashioned in style and far too many come up in areas I dont know. So do any of you know any good rental sites or cottages itself to recommend?
Dont mind where but wishlist is near coast and potentially village for walkable pub, fairly quietish (so no Newquay or St Ives), with room outside for children to play (so no apartments). My absolute wish would be somewhere I could sit out of an eve with a sea view, but sadly may have to drop this as dont have 3k+ to spend!!

We have stayed a few times at Draystone in Cawsand. It has 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles and bunk beds.
There is a small back yard for playing/sitting (although no real sea view) and it ticks all your other boxes. 1min walk to beach, with added bonus of foot ferry to Plymouth. 50s walk to pasty and ice cream shop, 40s to pub! Driving in the village is for loading/dropping of off only (massive public car park at the top of the road), which makes it practically traffic free, so really good for children.

Cornishcottages.com have some lovely looking ones jn Crantock, one of my favourite Cornish places. Don't know about availability though. Lovely village and beach and near to Newquay if it rains!

The Lizard peninsula. I have always booked with Classic Cottages: generally v reliable.

I would suggest you Airbnb a whole cottage/house for a week.
Some are really stunning & modern.

Check all the listing sites for accommodation that suits you, check reviews, etc. then google the property and try to book direct. The listing sites all charge between 15 - 25%, whether they charge the owner or the guests (booking fee/service fee/commission) that charge will be included in the price you pay - if you can book direct you will save money.
