Balance Bike for a tall 3 year old...

Our 3 year old has a BMXie balance bike, which he loves, but it's now far too small for him. He's not at all interested in his bike with or without the stabilisers and just wants to be on a balance bike. He's a very tall 3 year old (a good 2 inches taller than everyone else in his nursery class). Can anyone recommend a balance bike for a tall child?

The seat can also be raised. DS's is very robust.

The Puky LRXL is their biggest and has a minimum inside leg measurement of 42cm.

We've used an EazyGlider balance bike from Just Balance Bikes before. One particularly good aspect, which I think would be useful in this case, is the handlebars extend and the seat can be raised.

The ridgeback scoot is a 14", so a bit bigger than most of the balance bikes.

There are also a couple of 16" ones, the go glider and another made by Strider (though when I was looking it was hard to find places in the UK which had any in stock).

The go glider is supposed to suit from 4, and there's certainly plenty of growing room. My 10 year old has been know to take it out for a spin.

You could just take the pedals off his bike?

There all for the same age group as far as i'm aware and that's pre-bicycle.

But try a company called Kiddimotto give them a call.

If no joy then you may consider moving onto a 2 wheeled scooter.
