High boots for pre teen

Can anybody recommend slim tall boots for a 10year old with adult size 4 in shoes?

DD started helping in her stable now and her normal short boots are just not suitable anymore. We tried tall ones before but they are all too wide around her calves, she still has children legs, not adult calves.

I don’t want to spend a fortune but obviously she needs comfortable ones, she is there now for 8 hours each Sunday and during some of the holidays.

I’d get rubber short boots and synthetic half chaps. Cheap and easy to clean. Also neoprene riding wellies super comfy, easy to clean and warm.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin- no, she hates walking in normal wellies and there is not a lot of space to keep their stuff. They hmpf yesterday as DD brought a small back pack with an additional jumper as the weather was quite cold. She was 6 hours in them doing yard work/leading/cleaning tack and 2 hours riding.
She has leather short boots and they come home absolutely filthy so I need something easier to clean.

Are the boots for both riding and yard work? My DDs (aged 10 & 13) both have Horseware synthetic long boots (junior size go up to an adult 5). They are really fab and not at all the stiff rubbery type of synthetic boot of yore. They look and feel very similar to a leather boot but are extremely durable and waterproof. There is no problem getting a good heel down leg position with them and they are very comfortable. They also clean up easily and look smart enough for pony club/comps etc. My girls wear theirs daily for all yard work and riding. The older pair (2 years at least and worn daily) have just started to split across the toe but are still wearable. So I've been very pleased with them value for money wise. My 13 year old also has a pair of Tredstep Donatello juniors that she wears for her serious riding/competing and they are brilliant too (although pricey at £150ish). Very popular amongst our pony club teens (as we discovered when they all took their boots off at the main door at camp last year and had to spend ages locating DD's boots amongst all the identical pairs 😂). Long leather boots in general are cold. Can't she just wear wellies and change to ride?
