Horsey gift for a 12yo

My son needs to buy a secret Santa gift for a classmate. All he knows about her is that she likes anything horsey. I have no idea whether she has a pony (unlikely as we live in London but not impossible) or even lessons. DS refuses to ask her anything as they are supposed to keep it all secret.

Any ideas for gifts around the £10 mark?

Have a look on the Redwings site. They sell all kinds of horsey gifts and you'd be helping a charity at the same time.

What a thoughtful boy you have

I'd always say socks. You can buy nice riding socks on line and even if she doesn't ride she can wear them when she is pretending.

How lovely of him to give it so much thought. My DD's into horses and someone once got her a scarf with horses on as a secret Santa present when she was 10; she loved it and still wears it 4 years later. It's like this one: www.robinsonsequestrian.com/joules-wensley-scarf-ladies-767050?colcode=76705022

It would be easier if you knew whether she had a pony or takes lessons as then you could go for a grooming brush or riding socks/gloves but if she just likes horses then that’s a bit more difficult. Online tack shops like Robinsons might give you some inspiration but they are bound to offer something for a horsey mad teenager. Stationery, mugs, t shirts etc
