Have you got a good website you can recommend as from next Tues LauraNorder is going back in the saddle!! Shock

I have the kit from a few years ago but I think it will be just a bit too snug for me now. Also my hat, although hardly used is a few years old so should be replaced non?

An excellent online store that I use is:
www.corkfarmequestrian.co.uk
The lady that runs it (Amy) is really helpful if you have any questions.

If anyone is in the West Country, Murphys at Congresbury are brill. They have a sale and second hand room out the back which is great for picking up stuff for kids that they grow out of quickly.

I got 2nd hand boots (£6.50), jodhpurs and a coat in the sale for £28 (inc the boots).

Only dropped pony off with new producer at Towerlands last week so think Ipswich comes too quick - they want to start him at Topthorn on 16th in Equifest FR qualifer after they have had a chance to give DD a lesson on him.

We had intended to go NSPS show tomorrow anyway but DD needs to walk X country course before first part of a Tetrathlon on Sunday and then we want to watch the Grand National on tele!

I'd suggest getting a hat fitted at your local saddler. Otherwise we get most of our stuff on line these days. We always buy Horseware Ireland rugs and usually find Equestrian Clearance - via Ebay - to be the best prices.

Clothes wise we tend to buy from specialist stores such as Mrs Candy but that is because we're a competitive family.

P.S. Mitchy - just been told by our new producer that we may be at Topthorn next week if you're there!

If you are nearish to Colchester, there is an equestrian boot sale at Wix equestrian centre on Friday night. You should have a new hat. Standards change. You may find the one you have isn't up to standard for a riding school.

Derby House or Ride Away are usually pretty good.

I tend to do an annual shopping binge at Badminton and am writing a list for this year's spree in 3 weeks time Grin

//www.rideaway.co.uk is brilliant, things arrive very quickly and have always had good customer service from them. And lovely catalogue to drool over. Grin

You need to go somewhere and have a hat fitted - the styles vary hugely in the way they fit. And your old hat should be replaced.

In my area Countrywide are great for cheap stuff thats actually quite good quality.

Depends on what you plan to do Laura. Are you just hacking/schooling or are you going to get competitive!
