Hi all. New user! Nice to meet everyone and looking forward to chatting.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of interviewing for and/or working at Bedales school in Hampshire?

Thanks for any info!

I did.
Wasn’t a teaching position but had to meet head of year and head of juniors in interview, They were lovely, I didn’t get the job as I wasn’t enthusiastic enough ( about life).
Also had an interview with the kids. They were really lovely, Clearly some with SEN but all very switched on. Some were gender neutral from appearance - it’s very hip so impossible to tell if it’s just clothes/ fashion or they actually were - so was very aware of not using pronouns.

I knew the school already so wasn’t awed but it made me sad that you need to have a shed load of money to go. Yes I know about scholarships etc but my current students don’t even gave beds let alone musical instruments or go to dance classes etc. It has an air of an SEN school though and obviously embraces hands on education like farming, gardening and the arts.

I haven't any personal experience except that I have decided to send my daughter there from September 2021 and have only heard good things from friends of friends whose children have been there, and a school consultant who is a friend. I would be interested in any current parents' views - thank you!
