I have no idea if you have one but do you?
The only reason I am asking is my son is in year 11 and he has made some thank you cards for the teachers who have inspired him/supported him the most and have gone above and beyond. I have added a little note in them as well.
But I then also emailed the school, it was marked for the head but it is an academy so I don't know who is over staffing or reviewing staff performance.
I listed several teachers who were just fantastic and said why as parents and with input from our child we thought they deserved recognition. Plus one teacher in particular who has clearly worked their absolute backside off re revision material etc but whose class may not all get the magic grade 4. As in the children are just lazy, non-revising, capable but lazy. Ds is predicted 7+ but the teacher still pushed the top grades as well as the 3s.
I am hoping that it counts for something, firstly that the teachers get thanked by the higher ups but also that it helps with your end of year review.
I know that the teachers have been told as one of them mentioned it to my son, but with revision and a weird timetable Ds hasn't seen everyone he thanked. He did the card handing over at the end of a lesson and bolted
