Two years ago, I moved schools and despite working with a really lovely staff, the job itself has proved to be a mistake. There's not been the opportunities for progression that I thought there would be and behaviour is shocking.
I am getting more and more low and depressed and my health has really suffered. There's an opportunity to apply for a role in another school, which would give me the promotion to leadership I was looking for.
However, when you're really ground down by a job, how do you lift yourself up enough to apply for something bigger? And if you manage to do that - and then don't get the job - how do you pick yourself up again afterwards? Worried that I'm going to end up feeling worse
