I have an adult learning interview and need to do a 15min microteach. I'm out of practice and need some inspiration! It can be on any topic.

What type of adult learning? Maths, English, key skills?

i did this course a few years back and i was looking to go into secondary education. So I came up with a 15 min microteach lesson on sexual education. Told them that i thought it would be good from a PSHE side.

Got loads of information from the local health centre and also had lots of visual props.... packets of pills, condoms etc

hope this helps

I did 'How to Plant a Seedling' for a micro teach once (I got the job), it was also Adult Learning.

I gave the interviewers the pot/compost/seedling/seed etc and then 'taught' them how to pot it. Teaching something with props helps nerves and teaching something very familiar and easy helps too.

Basic coding, using ‘world of code’ or similar?

Tsk... hour of code, not world of code!

It’s aimed at children but there are lots of progressively harder levels.
I found it interesting to learn it as an adult!
