Any tips for survival?! :D
(she's all vaccinated and been out and about lots, quite sociable)
We have a stake and long line for when we are at the tent, but not sure how I'm going to get out in the night for a wee... she sleeps downstairs happily at home but if she's near me and I move...she's up!
I'm taking her travel crate as she is still small enough (and travelling in it) but we don't crate her at home (or rather I don't shut her in her home crate)

I'm hoping she will love it.. even in the pouring rain we are forecast!

Oh she’ll love it!

Go with the flow, you’ll work it out. Hopefully the excitement will wear her out!

I am indeed, and the Eurasier Society one.
She was an absolute star yesterday..loves the fields, was polite to all the dogs, was very curious and a bit scared of the alpacas Grin when they all glared at her through the fence to their field! Slept all night and I woke her up this morning!

And thank GOD it isn't raining!!!!

Ahh you got her! No tips for the camping but enjoy your Eurasier- they are just the best!

Are you in the Eurasier lover group on fb?

If she’s vv furry then I suppose keeping her cool will be more of an issue for you, luckily the weather has turned...She’ll make a good hot water bottle!

I haven't got her a coat yet..she's a Eurasier (ie baby bear at the mo) and definitely prefers cool spots.. she always chooses to sleep on the floor rather than a comfy bed, and loves her cool mat. We also have a fan heater in the tent on low all night.
I suspect she will end up sleeping on my bed with me ...fine but will have to adjust when we get back home!
I'm a bit worried she will wake everyone up at 5am when she gets up and realises she's next to me.. she is VERY loud and happy first thing!

Good point about the zips! She's a really bright puppy and susses things out in no time!

Keep zip openings up high so she can’t open the tent and escape by poking her nose through (ours did this in her first night of camping, she ran past other dogs who were sleeping outside in crates who started barking - woke up the whole site Blush.

Definitely take the crate

If you have a coat for her (like equi fleece) take it with you in case she gets cold in the eve. If she’s running around all day then she’ll be tired and could get shivvery. Failing that, snuggle her up on you lap under a blanket to keep her warm.

Have a good time :-)

My DH used to end up sleeping in the car (estate) with our last dog as she woke at 4am and then just wanted to be up.
