New thread for new series
obviously all this has happened in the past year
they would have been better filming this as it happened and showing it
as we have seen all their trips on Facebook and instagram if on it
E 1 - Chloe’s pregnancy takes a worrying turn

Omg. I'm in hospital after having operation this am and wow at comments and personal attacks on some posters
Thanks @LilyMumsnet for intervening
Now can we all please get back to the radfords - not too much slagging off as this will get pulled
And yes if you don't like it don't watch or comment
They do fascinate me , if that's the right word
The early shows great
Just a shame they have to fake stuff like
Moving out and not telling
Buying a camper van
Forgetting money
Etx
Bring back the original show - seeing day to day life with lots of kids /adults older kids

This series just shows how thick channel 5 think their viewers are. Noel and Sue did a whole vlog on the campervan and it was clearly a joint decision.
I preferred it when it was actually a reality show/documentary and not this scripted nonsense.

Exactly. It was well documented before and it's all online. It's ridiculous that they're doing this and even more ridiculous that people are falling for it. Says a lot about their fan demographic 🙄🤦♀️🙄

When the KAC programme was first aired they used to show more "fly on the wall" stuff and interview the kids separately. I remember a few of the kids comments were not that positive about their experience of being in a huge family.
Then there was an episode where they went on holiday and hired mini buses. Sue iirc got lost and Noel was quite patronising/aggressive to her, and it was quite uncomfortable viewing. The whole situation looked unbelievably stressful and probably having a load of cameras there just made it worse. (Of course it might have been edited to look worse than it was)
I think that was the end of their relationship with channel 4 and they started the new series with the plan they would have more control over what was shown.

It's been my guilty pleasure tv for the past 10 years. I see it as a working class uk Kardashian's.
What I don't understand is why so many of the adult DCs still stay at home. Morcambe is a cheap place to live. There might even still be social housing there! The boys certainly aren't hanging about to do childcare.
One of them was charged with domestic abuse I think, so not really someone suitable to be in a house full of young DCs.
Chloe used to be my favourite, when she had ambition and seemed to have a future.
Hopefully some of the mid teen girls will try that route instead and go to uni and actually get a degree.
The lack of food in that fridge was quite disturbing. They didn't seem to have many basic staples, do they mostly make ready type meals? How can Millie not know how to cook when there's so much cooking to do in that house?

I watched tonight the first time I've seen this series. I'm sure last series they said that the new pie factory was a really big financial investment for them (I presume they have a commercial lease and then the renovation costs) ....but now they were looking to build a house....basically from scratch?
And I agree I thought a few of the things looked contrived ...the leak fixed "just in time" before the EA came to value the house...
....the spillage cleared up "just in time" before the judges came to the pie factory.
When Sue came back from their night away she definitely seemed more excited to see the dog than the kids!🤣
