She got tons of lovely new clothes for her b'day from relatives and friends and now I am envious of her wardrobe.

Thread hijack: Hi PPH, how are you? Great news about the pregnancy, bar of course the elasticated waist jeans!

I bought some adult clothes in the Boden sale, didn't like them, sent them back and am now about to use up my credit on clothes for DD1. Groan. The only upside is that she needs new clothes because, at 4.5 she has finally managed to graduate out of her 2-3 wardrobe.

yes, it is called a "look book". every designer has one of the next season's collection, several months before it is available. you look at it and go, "oh, lovely, I'll have THAT and THAT and THAT but perhaps in amethyst and could you make it sleeveless rather than cap sleeved? Thank you so much...."

wouldn't that be wonderful? mind you, you need to be a small size 8 to really benefit...

I read that when Alice Evans (unfamous actress) dated one of the Picasso grandsons, she was given a book of the designer clothes before they hit the rails for her to select her seasonal wardrobe from - every season.
Now that is what I call a boyfriend.

moondog, I'm currently receiving boxes with not very nice elasticated waist jeans and enormous pants..... no chance of me getting into any skinny little cool numbers for many many months sadly...

I buy a lot of children's clothes online, and I'm always jealous when my daughter gets basically a whole, new, colour-coordinated wardrobe sent to her in a single big brown box every season.
Just imagine if that was you - how cool would that be?!!! Sigh

My DD has a better wardrobe than me too, and she gets a brand new wardrobe every season as well, how unfair is that!
