Worn in your hair like a hair band, ala Orlaith from Big Brother

I'm thinking yes.

Just ordered a sequiny sparkly one for evening wear.

Trinny and Susannah would be proud.

Ooh - love that scarf northerner. I can visualise you now...you are already wearing it with flowing locks and a serene expression on your face

PB - a girl on my university course was a member - complete with sensible shoes, A line skirt and hanky on head. Have no issues with the dress code - unless you are easily upset and embarrassed by it. She tried so hard to fit in but stuck out like a sore thumb. Her rather niave view of life and limited social skills/restricted life code meant that she left after only a few weeks, poor girl. Hope she met a nice like minded lad and found a happier life than she was living when I knew her

They're very Ann Leslie in her 70's Daily Mail photo

Nice scarf, but I think if I started wearing one, they'd swiftly go out of fashion.

Lush scarf! I like that site-have added it into my shopping box in favorites-the one that goes on forever!

Ah, Cod I know what you mean now. We have a few round here. The women have really long hair and wear scholls with white socks. More of a bandana than a head scarf though IMO.

Oh, PB.

I taught in a school in Bath where one of the kids was from the PB. He wasnt't allowed to watch tv, and was bullied horribly by the other kids

Ooh very pertinent. I am growing my hair and it's at that annoying, big wild mess, no stylee stage at the moment and I was thinking about one of these. I don't know who Orlaith is but I guess you mean the ones that look a bit like a pair of knickers on your head. Where would I get one should the court of MN decide they are acceptable head apparel?

Only if you are a stunning model like Orlaith. and if you need them to keep your bleached hair in place as kermal suggested.
