I've tried birch box for six months, but ultimately cancelled. The boxes were lovey, but just got a bit bored really. And half of the stuff I didn't use. I've just signed up for glossy box so will see how that goes. Kneedeepin_life on Instagram has a swipe up offer (discount and a free box) which I've taken advantage of. So will try that for a few months and probably use as Christmas presents.

I've had glossybox, Birchbox and LF. I thought. But rubbish but they were cheap. Rubbish stuff nail polish, black eyeliner. Just wasn't for me.

Roccabox is good for cheaper option but my absolute favourite is cohorted, high end products worth more than the box, it's expensive but such a lovely treat every month

DD had LF for a year. Very pleased with it. A mix of skincare and makeup. Lots of products she's continued to buy. We stopped it after a year though as it did start to repeat itself- certain brands that I'm guessing just aren't their highest sellers on their own kept appearing and in every box there'd be an eyebrow kit or liner from Eyeko.
For 6 months or even 12 though, it was great.

I have had beauty boxes (including Look Fantastic and Birchbox) and I enjoyed them, but generally I think you are better saving that money and spending it on things you would choose for yourself. In my experience you get 5 products in a box: 2 are great, 2 are ok, and 1 you don't really want/like. Also worth noting that you get a relatively low amount of make-up/colour cosmetics in favour of skincare and hair care, I guess they are more universal as they don't have to match skin tone and colouring.

I like Latest In Beauty because they let you choose your own items from a bunch of options.
Their Collections are good too, and there's usually a new one every month.

I've had Roccabox for a few months now and love it! They've just announced they are upping the price a bit to be able to incorporate more luxury brands which I'm really excited about!

I’ve been getting the monthly box from toyl since May and really impressed. You can see a preview of the upcoming box and you can pause if you don’t fancy it.

Tried a few over the years

Roccabox I really like a d good value for money
Birchbox I m currently on a 3 month sub as they did it for half price

Glossybox was OK but too much I didn't use, same with look fantastic
Tried feel unique sample and beauty kit was OK but not huge value for money considering its sample size

There are unbox groups for all the boxes on YouTube, have a look at diary of a beauty geek, she has discount codes too
