Pyjamas with pockets?

I've just found a hole on the bum of my trusty old pj's. I'm a very fussy pyjama buyer!

I'm looking for shirt and trouser pj's and they must have pockets in the trousers. I used to buy cyberjammies but I swear they've changed them and the shirt is always too short now. I've had a couple of hush pairs but they couldn't go in the tumble drier! I like dark pyjamas. Don't want to spend more than £50. Any brands to look at that might fit the bill?

Thank you

The only pyjamas I’ve found that reliablyhave pockets in the bottom half are Long Tall Sally. Not much good to you if you’re 4’11” though!

Most of them?! Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s, boden all have pockets.

Have you got a sewing machine? One of the easiest things to made and you could get enough viscose Jersey to made quite a few pairs exactly to your liking for £50

Ok, don’t laugh, but I’ve just got some M&S boys pyjamas in size 15-16 and they’re lovely! I’m a tall size 10/12 and they’re a perfect fit... and have excellent pockets!

Asda mens pyjamas fit the bill!

My issue is almost exclusively the legs on them are too short!

I don't want to stretch my legs out on the couch only for half my shin to pop out the bottom!

Mens pj's tend to have pockets more than women's seven201

Fat face pyjama pants normally have pockets.

Buy mens, for some reason men need pockets and we dont. I got some nice fatface ones in mens section.

I’ve got Boden and Next both with pockets.

Ooh thanks everyone! I will into all these options. Men's could be a good shout!

I bought a pair of lovely navy Tesco pj's with stars on in November. No sodding pockets - didn't realise until I'd washed them! I wore them 3 times and then gave up and accepted I can't live without pockets.

I do own a sewing machine but I think I'm too lazy to make pjs. Maybe one day when I'm retired and/or don't have young dc. I have short legs so long tall sally probably won't work. Although I could get the sewing machine out for a small turning up job I suppose!

Thanks everyone

Don't see why they can't have different keg lengths for pjs like they do trousers. I have to get cuffed legged pjs as I'm so short. Some of my next ones have pockets. I live pockets!

Ok so been on next. The descriptions are so crap! Many mention pocket on the shirt bit but don't say about trousers so I'm ruling most out.

I'm going rogue!
I'm ordering a jersey non shirt style pair!
And my usual style - the jigsaw molly ones, on next.

Thanks again

Boden have pockets. My mum buys me a pair for Christmas every year Smile

Long Tall Sally. So comfy, well made, wash well and pockets!

Definitely Fat Face for bottoms - wear them with a vest / hoodie.

I like it that you can alter the length on theirs.

Another vote for Fat Face. Pockets and great quality. I have 3 pairs that I alternate. Wear with a fleece Uniqlo top for extra cosy nights in bed.

Joules legs have pockets.

I put my hush pjs in the dryer. They come out fine.

My next order has arrived.
My navy jigsaw ones are not plain navy as in the photo but navy and white check! I'm sending them back as they weren't cheap!

Had a look at fat face but I'd ideally like a matching set which they don't seem to do. I'm going to look at Boden and joules now.

Another vote for Fat Face men's. Got some in the sale and they're DIVINE. Thick, soft flannel, pockets, length. Have never found a women's pair made of such thick, nice flannel. I went straight back the next chance I got and bought the one remaining pair in my size so now have two identical pairs.

They don't have matching tops but that's great for me as I'm not keen on shirt-style tops, I just wear them with a vest or thin cotton jersey top.

I have a pyjama update!

I am in bed wearing the softest most comfy pyjamas I've ever owned.

They're on sale on other places but i got mine off amazon as was cheapest there at the time, although now only have xl I think.

They're a lovey soft jersey, and not too thin.

DKNY Black/Geo Print Long PJ Set (YI2119353) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07JPYTMC1/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_XGkyCbWV20ZEM

I didn't realise the circles were made of the words Donna Karen New York etc, I thought they were dashes. Would have preferred dashes but otherwise they're amazing.

I also bought some plain navy jigsaw ones. They're a bit thinner and cotton I think rather than stretchy jersey. Also very nice, will be good for summer.

I have to ask, why do you need pockets in pyjamas? I love pockets in everything else, but can't think what you would put in them overnight!

TantricTwist · 10/02/2019 23:16

I spent half the day today in my PJ's so totally get why pockets are required.
