Non plus- size anti chafe shorts

I'm a size 10 but a pear and even when I was a bit slimmer my thighs rubbed a bit if it was warm and I was wearing a dress. It's usually not too problematic but I'm going to a wedding abroad which is likely to be hot and this current warm weather has reminded me of the problem.

I saw some shorts recommended here a bit back but the smallest size is 12-16 (they're the ones from the big tights company) so might be too big- don't think they'd work well if they were. I've found chaffree but all the reviews say they come up really high and some say they're really sweaty too.

So, any recommendations for such a product that comes in a bit 10 and isn't too highs or sweaty?!

Just get some cotton cycling shorts from Primark, or if you need a light colour, some of their capri length leggings in white or grey and cut them down. Unless your dress is very short no-one will know.

I found some in TKMaxx made by Marliyn Munroe Intimates - the XL fits me fine at a size 16-18 so I would guess a S or M would work for you if you can find any there. They're microfibre so non sweaty and don't ride up. I wore mine under a dress in the heat today and I was only sweaty from below the end of of them.

I got some sloggi shorts on Amazon for this. I wore them in 36 degree heat in Vegas as they weren't sweaty.

Yeah, I was just looking at the sloggi ones- they start at a 12 which is probably fine, I was just unsure about the 12-16 size range. I'll see if I can find the others too. Thanks!

I got the Chaffree and yes they do come right up to under my bust. But, I wore them on Sat. in 26 degree heat and they were surprisingly comfy. I wore them over my knickers and didn't find them at all sweaty. I wouldn't wear them without knickers though. And they stayed in place and didn't roll down at all.

I love the sloggi shorts (I'm wearing them today). I think you'd be ok with a size 12 as they come up quite small

Try Uniqlo. I have bought some lightweight ones in there before.

I got some unbranded cotton cycling shorts from amazon for this purpose. What about cutting down cropped leggings from primark?

Cycling shorts work better imo. And I think you can get them in pale colours for going under summer frocks

I've had magic shorts from m&s before. Like tights with leg cut off. I'm a 16 and take the large, so small or x small should work for you?

I guess I'm just thinking the cycling shorts might be a bit bulkier than specific undies. The sloggi ones probably look the best, I'll order some and see I think. Thanks!

I always just buy cheap cycling shorts from anywhere and they do the job!!

I'm a size 12 and tried the Sloggi ones. They were awful. Baggy, the cotton stuck to my dress and I was incredibly self conscious wearing them, they felt so uncomfortable as they were loose. I ended up buying some Jockey ones in USA (and throwing the Sloggi ones), not sure if they do them here but they're excellent.

The big bloomer company anti chafing knickers start at a 12, they are great.

Try these? I love them and they're great if you don't particularly need the slimming effect shorts can have.
