What am I doing wrong??

Joined SW 6 weeks ago with a stone to lose.

I've lost 2lbs!!!! in 6 weeks!!!

Typical day for me is:

Breakfast - fruit, muller light and a cup of tea (no sugar)
Lunch - Wholemeal roll with tuna or chicken salad. Fruit for afters.
Dinner - Some kind of meat and veg or pasta recipe.

Syns - 4 NICE biscuits on an evening during the week.
15 syns worth of alcohol on a friday and saturday night.

I exercise twice a week.

What am I doing wrong? shall I just accept that I'm old (35) and won't ever lose that extra stone?

Not eating enough,, syns too low and no a choice

My guess would be that your carb servings are too big.

Are you already a healthy weight? Then if so your weight loss is great.

For perspective I've got 4 stone to lose, eat 3 times as much as you and lose a pound every week.

What is your portion size like? If you are eating massive portions so you are ridiculously stuffed, your calorie deficit might not be very big. What is your current height and weight?

Have you weighed your wholemeal roll. The SW bread portion is tiny. It is hard to find a roll small enough to qualify.

You don't mention much dairy - is the milk in your tea taking all your A choice allowance? I've often read that dairy is good for weight loss and you don't seem to be having much. I don't count milk at all and have at least one portion of cheese every day and have lost on average a pound a week. I also only had a stone or so to lose.

How many syns is 4 Nice biscuits?

How much veg? Is a third of your plate veg? Is your fruit at breakfast speed? Is that a bit of salad in your roll or a massive salad with a roll on the side?

I think upping your speed food is probably the answer.

If you only have a stone to lose it will be slow, plus you have lost over 0.5lb a week which is slow but acceptable.
