Today I made...

Baked Egg Custard with Almond milk - now in the food bin
Microwave rice pudding with Almond milk - ok but a bit crunchy

(the other day i made
ScanBran chocolate cake thing-y - also pretty revolting!)

Have you got any REALLY good, dont feel like i'm dieting recipes?

I like the overnight oats pancakes.

Soak 35g/ 1 sachet oats in a muller light or equiv low fat yogurt overnight. In the morning add some vanilla essence (if you want added flavour) sweetner if desired and an egg.

Spray a frying pan with frylight and warm. Put a heaped spoon of mix into the pan over a medium heat leave for about two mins, turn over cook for a minute on other side. Repeat for remaining mix.

I get about 6 - 10 pancakes from 1 mix and usually share with DH.

Its a big healthy don't feel like you're on a diet breakfast.

You can serve with berry fruit or chopped banana and a drizzle of honey.

The cajun salmon and mango couscous from the latest SW magazine is amazing ????

The overnight oats cease to exist if you soak. You end up with a thick mush. Still nice without the soaking but the texture is very different.

Chicken Dhansak recipe is my favourite.

The savoury recipes are all good imho.

The dessert recipes for cakes are awful. I truly think if you are so desperate for cake, you should have real cake and syn it.

Sw carbonara
Spaghetti Vongole
Nacho Feast
Lasagne using my amazing cauliflower white sauce recipe.
Turkey mince burgers
Risotto
Pizza

I did the overnight oats but with only an hours soaking and they were fine - I didn't put any sweetener in, just eggs, oat, yogurt and vanilla essence - ate with strawberries.

I made a spiced apple cake off the slimming world website and it was OK - basically a fat free sponge with apples and cinnamon in - no artificial sweeteners and 5 syns for a large slice.

There's one for chicken pizza on there that's really nice - basically pizza toppings on a flattened chicken breast - I serve it with salad at least once a week.

Mine may sound quite basic sorry if they do haha i'm still learning!!

I did the Homous which was brilliant and i used the Slimming world own meatballs last night they were very yummy! I've heard diet coke chicken is yum too!

Has anyone done the scrambled eggs following SW? i tried that yesterday followed the recipe and have to say they looked like mush!

I don't see how you need a special recipe from SW to scramble eggs Confused. Don't you just mix up some eggs in a pan or microwave and count any milk or butter if you use it, but it's fine without?

In any case, I make omelettes instead because I prefer them and less likely to stick or burn (I don't like runny scrambled eggs so probably am overcooking them compared to how they 'should' be).

I've just had this chicken curry for lunch, with some spinach added and it was delish, despite the slightly odd 'boil some onions to death' starting instruction.

Off the website I have tried the chicken katsu curry (don't use a litre of stock, 500ml is fine) and the chicken satay (I found I didn't need the sweetener, it was sweet enough without).
Tried the chip shop curry sauce. Absolutely NOTHING like chip shop curry sauce. All it was was a tin of tomatoes with curry powder.
calzone* what's the recipe for cauliflower white sauce? Sounds interesting!!

The chip shop curry sauce i've tried that was okay was baked beans, tomatoes, mushy peas and curry powder. I started with onion and garlic too from memory.
