Hi randomer - not sure if you were aware, but same thread appeared half a dozen times, so have zapped the spares so that you get all responses on the same thread. Hope that's OK with you Grin

Mine's lovely very sweet & supportive of everyone. She texts if I don't come or have a bad week & didn't stay for group. I'm not sure she's the most amazing presenter (waffles a bit Wink) but meetings are fun & I come away inspire to keep going another week.

We had a lovely consultant who was hugely supportive but left a couple of months ago so we've had a series of different temporary consultants who have had various different styles but have all been good. I have heard that one consultant local to us has definite favourites though. Might be worth trying a different group if there is another locally.

No, she seems to spend all her time with the new joiners and is always pushing you to buy stuff - books/magazine/raffle. That's why the majority pay/weigh and go. I stayed to group once and it was so dull, I can't face it again. I don't trust my self discipline to go it alone yet though and I like the website so I'll keep going for a bit longer...

Ours is lovely, very supportive and inspirational.

Yes she's great. She's been there, fallen off plan, got back on again.

She's supportive & funny and goes out of her way to be there for us.

Had to change classes as I couldn't get to the original. Original consultant wad kind, funny, entertaining and motivating too, I couldn't really looked forward to seeing her every week. Thr one where I now go is dull as dishwater, does all the spiel by the book, hardly anyone stays. Can't wait to get back to first class....come on flat cap junior, up to the next level at swimming please!

Ours is lovely. Sometimes she sounds a bit fake but each week the group session is different and helpful. She makes a point of motivating people in a lovely targeted way.

Her grammar is shocking though.

Mine is lovely, a great sense of humour, great support etc.

I used to have one who was cheeky/rude/cutting and very definitely had favourites.

There's one in a nearby group who also has a clique & in jokes, nicknames for members. On the rare occasions I can't make my regular group, I only pay & weigh there as she's annoying.

I alternate between a couple of groups.

One of the leaders is down to earth, continues to struggle with her own weight and has definite favourites. She also cheated me out a Slimmer of the Week award Hmm although she did give it to a nice, older lady. She's alright though I wanted my inspirational magnet, dammit!

The other one is a bit mad and quite obviously fancies one of the (married) male class members. It's a bit embarrassing really.

I still go because I get good ideas from other people in the class about snacks and things.
