My DD bought some of these to take on a school trip (long coach journey). DS wanted a go, but I had to look at the website to see how to start & continue them. Now I keep wanting to have a go!

Am I just sad, or has anyone else had a go?

This site is brilliant. Loads of new stiches clearly photographed step-by-step. I think Boondoggleman would be a great MN name!

Yes I'm hooked too! My dds are a bit young to master them but I got my dp's girls to show me. I spent ages trying to work it out and was so chuffed when I did! Then I bought a book and can now now 4 or 5 patterns!! Very sad but itis addictive and something to do with my hands of an evening - rather than reaching for the chocolate!!

Now just got to find something to do with them all!

I went to my sisters and my niece had them and yes - totally hooked. Wish DD was old enough to play then I could buy some and pretend they were for her!

My dd got some on Saturday which I fiddle with when she has gone to bed. We got them in Claires Accessories for £2.00

My DS is hooked, as are a lot of boys in his class. The school have issued a ban on unmade Scoubis as kids are playing with them in the classroom! (as were Tamagotchis). You can get black & white only ones, or multicoloured. Almost like French Knitting in plastic!

Do boys craze about them too?

Or is it more for girls?

Definitely sad - me I like to steal DD's gameboy when I can wrestle myself away from MN - obviously much superior!
