Hello,

Do any of the P&T owners know if you can attach a buggy board to one? Also, until what age can the the top and bottom seats be used? Can you put a newborn in the bottom seat?

Also, has anybody bought theres from Kiddicare? Is the raincover it comes from suitable for use with the double seat?

I'm sure these have been asked already, but I can't find them....

Distracted from double buggy quest at mo to stressing about where to park when/if(!) go to Cold Play concert at Crystal Palace on Mon - wasn't meant to be pregnant - well wasn't the plan when booked tickets!!

DS2 is 8 months and we have used ours since birth, I do hang toys for him from the straps but lack of view doesn't seem to bother him, especially when moving, if we're in the park or somewhere and DD (2 years) gets out I move him to the front for a while and she hops in and out of the back as necesary.

have never kicked my dd3 in the head

havent really used the toddler seat at the back yet, just used it once as dd3 is only just old enough to use it in that position, and you could always hang some toys from the straps of the other seat. and they can look up directly at you, which is fab!!

Hello all
Would really appreciate your further opinions on the Phil and Teds double buggy.
Double buggy looks fab but finding it all a bit of a stress at the moment, only just getting my head around having a 13.5 month old and a new baby come Christmas!
My husband is worried about how close the baby will be to the floor and pushers legs/feet.
I wondered what the visibility is like for the second toddler as the web site picture gives the impression there is a big chance of toddler 2 becoming fretful and bored.
Would really appreciate some 'real life' opinions by current users - not seen one in the flesh as yet.

The Phil&Ted will accommodate two children,thus you have no need for a buggy board-that would be complicated!!!

Hi I have a Phil and Teds and it really is very good. My 3 year old sat in the front seat while my newborn laid flat at the back and then when the baby wanted to sit up and look around at about 3/4 months I sat him in the second seat at the back and my 3 year old still sat at the front. It is very easy and light to push and get round shops. I think you can fit a buggy board onto it but you need to buy a buggy board extension kit. The Phil and Teds is suitable for a child up to age 5.

lolasmum have you look at misdee's link? You can have baby in the e3 from the start - not in the seat though , it is set up differently.
But I agree that at 2yr 9m you can certainly get away with various buggy/sling/buggyboard combos

We were hoping to get the baby underneath from the word go. I think we're going to go for a single/sling/buggy board combination and perhaps buy a 2nd hand double buggy.

yes ytour older dd will sit in the front seat. baby will go underneath. when the 2nd seat is added to the back, (when baby is 6months or so) then the baby will be at tha back still.

Older child is going to be just under 2 years 9 months when next one born. I wanted to put her on top and the new born underneath as no way dd will settle for not being on top. I also wanted to be able to put a buggy board on the back as dd's friend has got one and she wants one too. We really are on the border line of whether we actually need a double buggy or not. I just like the idea of being able to strap dd into one when she's being naughty and we're out shopping, or if we're out for the day and she needs a nap. This buggy purchasing business is very complicated!

the back seat can be used from 6months i think, tho most people use them sooner as babies can hold their heads well and not slump from 4months ish.

dd2 is currently 40lb and seqats on the toddler seat at the front with dd3 in the hammock section. the raincover from kiddiecar is suitable for the doubles kit if u buy it as a double.

dont think u can attach a buggy board to it when using it in newborn position as the baby bit is very low.
