just seen on the mamas and papas link above that if you click on the shoponline option and then equipment it takes you to the shop where they have a £130 highchaire reduced to £99! still expensive although i'm sure that as it's 'worth' £130 you could get a much better price selling it second hand when you've finished with it.

i would look at the prima pappa, ithought that this was a great highchair and could take the tray off and have ds2 sat up at the table with us.
i had a tripp trapp for ds1 but got rid of it as i couldn't store it in the cupboard and liked to put all baby paraphenalia away when the kids are in bed and had friends round for dinner.
the prima pappa sells well second hand as well, i brought mine for £100 at John Lewis and sold it for £60 on ebay. the other option is that as most people buy these expensive highchairs and then resort to booster seats after a few months is to scour the freeads and ebay. i have seen loads of prima pappas on ebay tonight that all look in great condition.

see here ...we have the Prima Papa which was £100 3 years ago, but the Bistro one is cheaper.

TBH, I wish we hadn't bought a big one. It takes up so much space. Wish we'd gone for a simpler design or just one of those plastic booster seats you strap on to a normal chair, but that's a whole new thread!

Have you looked at the Mamas and Pappa's ones? they do big ugly plastic ones (we have one ).

We have this one for DS at my parents house as he eats there at least once a week. We have a Tripp Trapp at home, because I have no room to store an ugly big plastic highchair and I love that DS eats right up at the table with us.

Is it this one?
