cheapest wooden train set?

We want to get our train obsessed 2 year old a wooden train set for his third birthday in December - the kind you can keep adding bits to - like Brio, I think. Does anyone know where we can get one at a good price?

Any other takers for Cranky - or he's off to Ebay!

Lunarsea - unfortunately, DH has gone out this lunchtime and bought a brand new Cranky for DS's birthday tomorrow. Thanks all the same for the offer.

I still have more videos collision, and possibly some Thomas books when my clearout gets as far as the bookcases, but if Azure wants Cranky I'll be out of surplus wooden Thomas railway things.

It's not impossible that there might be some more later though, as a couple of times I've bought collections of Thomas engines to expand ds's selection, and inevitably there are a few duplicates. If that happens I'll offer them here, and you and zebra can have first choice.

Is there anything left now or have you sold it all?

Azure - can you contact me about Cranky on gill AT removethisbit.gmx.co.uk (if that makes sense).

Azure - will let you know either way when I hear back from zebra.

Hi Lunarsea - if Zebra's not interested, could I put in a bid for Cranky? How much do you want for him?

LunarSea,

many thanks. Percy, Oliver, George and Bertie arrived on time yesterday, much to DD's delight.

(Better scheduling on Sodor than Network Rail obviously!! )

zebra - it's not strictly speaking an engine, but I do have Cranky the Crane, which I'd forgotten about as I was only looking through the engines. Would that be of any interest to you?

That's fine LunarSea, sounds like a small sum for not having to trawl through charity shops. And I've already told ds they're coming... Do you want to e-mail me on hoxtonchickAThotmail.com & I'll give you my address. Also, can I be really cheeky & ask you to send them in a couple of weeks as we're going away & our post is really unreliable & I'd rather be around. I'll pay you immediately.

hoxtonchick - I've just weighed them and I'm afraid postage on 3 videos will cost £3.10, so with Paypal too it would have to be £6.94. Is that too much?

Thank you, LunarSea. Please can I have Biggest Ever Christmas Collection, Trust Thomas and Percy & Harold. I think that's £3.40 altogether. How much shall I add on for postage? Can I paypal you as well?
