HELP - How do I remove LOTS of lipstick from carpet??

Woke up this morning to find DD had applied lipstick to lips, forehead, neck and also... to carpet by bed, by dressing room entrance, in dressing room, etc....it's EVERYWHERE!!

In case you are wondering where I was...I was asleep at 6.30am and DD of 22mths, who now refuses to sleep in cot and usually walks in babbling, today went through my bag, found lipstick, applied lipstick and then babbled!!!!

I do see the funny side of it but need to know how to "lift it" without damaging cream carpet. Didn't get angry, just thought MN'ers will know how to deal with this and bag must go very high last thing at night!

Your advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks Coddy! Can't believe your quick reply, I was just reading about The Times front page and your posting when you posted on this! You know EVERYTHING! Looked at Tipking, will show do DH when he gets home - he was thinking possibly White Spirit? Anyway, many thanks.
