Ive had a pair blow up before, got sent a new pair - its still worth the risk because of how ghastly I look without them!

Report
Janh · 10/06/2004 14:09

Mind they don't blow up at you, coddy!
There are 4 blow-ups, one exposed wires and one overheating on this page...

I got mine from HQHair.com - they are truly fab you will love them.

My sister got her naturally curly hair done with YOKO and loved it at first but it goes that straight that your left with no body or movement and get silly curly roots!

Report
oliveoil · 10/06/2004 13:37

There is somehting similar that was mentioned in You magazine that is all the rage in NY. Sounds a bit drastic to me.

Anyway, isn't curly hair supposed to be in

CD it's a Japanese permanant straightening system. Done in a professional salon, takes about 4/5 hours but gets fantastic results. No faffing about at home ever again. Imagine emerging from the shower with wet hair, leaving it to dry naturally into straight, shiny sleekness. I'm jealous! BTW it costs between £200 and £300 depending on the lenght of your hair, and you have to have your roots done!

I think you should give them your business on that basis alone (and I know Kay Ess would agree with me).

Not only that but GHS know where apostrophes should go.

Report
Janh · 10/06/2004 13:29

coddy, read CD's GHD description and then the GHS one and tell me what the difference is (apart from 50 quid)

coddy, GHS are not cheapo, they just cost less - have you had a look?

Report
Northerner · 10/06/2004 12:40

Cods - my SIL's just had the YOKO straightening thing done to her hair. FANTASTIC results, she comes out of the shower, combs her hair and it drys naturally into beautifully smooth, silky, poker straight hair.
