Clarks Doodles shoes - Can I put them in the washing machine ?

Or will I kill them ? They are the summer fabric shoes with rubber soles and metal clasps made by Clarks. I just don't want to put them in to wash and find that the soles come away or anything because I've melted the glue that bonds he things together !!!

Has anyone washed theirs in the machine and they've lived to fight another day ??

Haven't washed ds' yet - but will later on today - covered in tomato sauce!

Girl in Clarks said a 40 wash with no detergent. And wash them in a pillowcase.

have put ours in the washing machine many times (on 40C). In fact, they have also survived accidental tumble drying aswell but I wouldn't recommend that
