Graco Mosaic

Is Graco Mosaic really as terrible as all the reviews seem to make it out to be??

Review Centre has only given it 1.7/5 and Mumsnet has given it 5.4/10 which doesn't seem very optimistic!! So I was about to reluctantly cross it off the list but then dooyoo has given it 4/5 so now I'm considering it again!!!

I'm due at the end of August, this is our first baby and we're hoping to have maybe another 2 kids so ideally whatever we buy now would last the course. We live in a pretty urban area so there wouldn't be too much walking over rough terrain. Our car is small (a fiesta lol) and we're unlikely to be upgrading to a bigger one any time before next year so we need a stroller that can be used from birth, folds up easily and is compact enough to fit in our boot. Price is a factor, otherwise I'd probably love the Bugaboo Bee...

Has anyone else used the Graco mosaic or any other Graco pram/stroller? Any thoughts?? Are they as crap as some reviews seem to suggest?? Thanks a million

I'd get the Mirage over the two.

The Mosaic folds like an umberella and the Mirage folds in half.

This Chicco pram is quite good as well, probably better than the Graco. The seat unit comes off so you can pop the car seat onto the frame, and would take up less room in your boot. Also rear faces when in pram mode. I've had one of these as well (I've had a few prams) and prefered it to Graco. You can't buy these in the shop now, just off Ebay.

Yorky - I take it a Graco Quattro isn't likely to fit in the boot of a fiesta? I do like the look of them and think they look comfier/sturdier but we have a small house and a small car so not great compatability with a big pram lol

Anyone got any thoughts on whether the Graco Mirage is better than the Graco Mosaic? The Mirage has gotten far better reviews online which confused me a bit, since the Mirage and Mosaic do seem pretty similar to me. But I'm a complete newbie so maybe I've missed something very obvious!!

They are pretty awkward to bump up and down the curb, even with two hands. You have to bump it up with your foot on the brake, really hard to get the hand off. And that was without the car seat on.

I wouldn't get one.

I want to sell mine, glad I only bought it 2nd hand. Have discovered I massively prefer buggies with a single handle (now looking to try a baby jogger city mini), find the mosaic pretty awkward to steer tbh, not a chance of doing it one handed especially with a buggy board on. But it is light, folds small, is easy to recline, shopping basket not a bad size, fits car seat on (although I wish Graco had an isofix base)
On the other hand, I still love our graco quattro, much easier to drive and comfier looking but doesn't fit behind all 7 seats in the car, hence getting a smaller buggy
