Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any experience of this:
www.joovy.com/pages/pd_ergo.php

You can only buy it from the US at the moment but it can be shipped over.
Thanks.

That's a good point. That's what I like most about my loola - I guess I take it for granted!

Speaking of hauck, I came across their duo roadster stroller on www.munchkipumpkin.com (love the name!) I dodn't realise they were suitable from birth - thought they were just buggys ... not that we have need of 2 seats yet but ....... Is it any good at £150 - seems cheap for 2 seats, as I paid that for my 2nd hand loola!

I can't really remember, you should email them for a shipping quote. Import duty is vat if you get "stung" plus handlers processing fee think it might have been about £15 - £20 altogether. :-S sorry to not be more helpful.
Seat is worth it and remember to order canopy as it keeps sun and showers off!

Mothercare sell the Joovy, and an adapter to attach a newborn car seat to it. I had a Mia Moda one, and it was great, because the car seat adapter was universal you could attach any car seat. Wasn't too bad to push, I pushed it through snow and it was ok.

You are a star, thanks very much for the pics, it helps so much when you get to see proper pictures as there are no good ones out there. Think I am going to go for the classic and jump seat. Can't believe I have finally made a decision . If only I could celebrate with a large glass of wine, haha. Have a great weekend.

Hi there, I have been looking at the pink classic but my husband said no, it was a great deal but he was worried we might do my son permanent damage and I don't know the sex of the new baby yet . They also have it in red/black or black/cream for £180 which is a great price. I emailed Country Moose Kids and it would be £120 in total to ship the jump seat and canopy. I haven't seen the Hauck i'coo before but thanks for that, I will see if I can find any reviews.

Pink classic baby jogger with carrycot at only £149.99!!!
Can't believe this deal - you can see seller does sell just the pushchair - for £169.99 and the carrycot seperately for £69.99 - so if you buy the two together basically the seller is giving you a discount of £89.99ish... maths not really my thing
I'm so tempted to get this for my boy...sell the carrycot off (don't need it.... unless dh relents and we try for baby 5 ) although I seriously do NOT need another pram/pushchair....

Hey - haven't sorted the pics of my elite with jump seat yet - but just found
THIS! I haven't seen this before and it does convert to a single afterwards too!

Also - same seller on ebay (click link in above add to see sellers other listings) has a pink classic baby jogger - with carrycot for only £149.99 - which quite frankly is an awesome saving in usual cost - IF you have girls - or are super trendy and would let your boys ride in a pink buggy (tis pastel - thinks back to all those pastel pink shirts/ jumpers with the pale grey trousers menfolk wore in the 80's.....could look really cool/smart!)

Hi, the ergo caboose is a different model from the one in mothercare, if you look at the website you can see that it is more suitable for using from birth with a younger toddler in the pushchair part, but the baby has to go into the car seat which isn't ideal.

Multimummy, can you use a rain cover with the jump seat? Thanks.

You can easily access the baby. I have even had my 6y old in the back and toddler in the front. You can have the back seat laid flat or upright with toddler seat in place. I'll try to get online via puter rather than mobile later and let you see pics. I understand is a big purchase to buy "unseen". Fwiw i didn't like the joovy hard to push. No air tyres.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Lots to think about. That's great to know about the jumpseat weight and I will seriously consider this option. I was worried my son would end up squashing the baby Can you access the baby with the jump seat attached or does this have to be removed each time?

Yes i have used the jump seat with my 6y old and for several miles regularly. No problems. She wears age 7-8y clothing so is big for age too. Seat is big and sturdy but still light.
After i drop her at school i sit the baby in the jump seat, recline the rear seat and use it to do a supermarket shop! Totally fab and verSatile. Can remove jump seat v quick and easy no tools required.
Love ours. I don't have use of car mon to fri and we walk miles. About 40 miles between mon and fri. Tis durable.

I don't have a joovy but have a baby style one which is similar design.
Pros - is great solution for toddler and young baby (mine goes from 6mths not newborn)
cons - built for US market - mine doesn't cope with curbs very well its great for shopping centres where its flat and easy but struggles a bit on more rough terrain.
I do love it though

Hi there, I have thought about this but the weight limit for the jump seat is 33lbs and my toddler is already above this and he is only 27 months. He is a chunky boy.
Have you used it with heavier kids?

Thanks.

FWIW I road tested them in Canada and was very impressed. If you go for it I'd avoid the lite. It was too flimsy.

You could also look at the mini moda I think it is called. I think you CAN get these in this country.

Baby Jogger city elite. Buy off ebay. Then order the baby Jogger jump seat and canopy from www.countrymoosekids.com (in the usa as you can't buy in the uk).
I've tried everything and this is the best and solution for us.
Pushes so easily. Comfy for kids. Top quality.
Jump seat will also fit the 09 onwards city classic.
