Any Maclaren Quest or Triumph owners out there?
I am not sure which will be best for using with a toddler occasionally, and a 6 month old.
Hoping one will replace bulky travel system, to be used for toddler when with grandparents and then 6 month old when ds 2.5 stops needing a pushchair.

Am a bit buggied out...

I have a quest (older model so no full recline) & as pp says its light & compact fold but long. It doesn't lay flat in the boot of my audi a1 (not even diagonally) so takes up most of the boot space. Definitely try before you buy!

Both fit in our old seat Ibiza boot, i used to have a polo and I'm pretty sure the Ibiza boot is smaller!

I managed to get a quest in the boot of a c1, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks Autumn and Cosmic. Very helpful. Have measured boot and I think will fit.
Just looking forward to having something lighter as my Uppababy Vista is feeling a bit like a bus!

I've got my triumph into a VW Golf. Not sure how helpful that is.

Not sure. The problem with maclarens and other umbrella fold pushchairs is that they fold long. And often need to go diagonally in the boot space. I've put it in ford fiesta no problem but not tried a vw polo. Hopefully someone else with this car will see your question.

Thanks so much for replying Autumn. Do you think the Triumph would fit into a vw polo boot?

I forgot to say I have a fairly small car!
Although uppababy vista fits in folded up..

I've got a triumph. We bought a new one after hiring one at centre parcs when we foolishly though we wouldn't need a buggy so didn't take one- boot was full with luggage. It.was a revolution after using a big pram fold pushchair. We didn't go back to our other pushchair! The triumph doesn't have a full recline but it was far back enough for our toddler to rest. We bought a seat liner to make it more comfortable and protect the seat from toddler mess. I let my sister use it once with her 5 month old for the day and she looked fine.
I think the quest has a leg support and full recline so more suitable for little babies. Not sure is there is a difference with hoods. Depends on the price difference and your priorities, but as you are using with an older child then a 6 months + baby you might not need the extras. Be aware that if you buy preloved older models of the quest don't have the full recline.
Good luck!
