Hi

Does anyone have a Fiat 500 and a pushchair carry cot and car seat that fits in it? What make and model?

Thanks in advance

I've got the orbit in my citroen c1. I love it and just put the car seat in the front seat. We had the bugaboo buffalo but sent it back for the orbit and we're going to get an all terrain ptam because OH is a big mountain biker. Really love the orbit and the carrucot is foldable so it all fits in my boot

You might be able to put the baby in the seat from within the car if you approach from behind the driver's seat - that's the way I would put my DS in his car seat in my mum's teeny polo. I'd have a look at the britax dualfix - it swivels so you can put the baby in from the front or side and then turn around.

I tried the Armillo flip and Armidillo flip XT from M and P yesterday. The original Armillillo flip fits in the 500 boot with the pushchair seat on no problem at all. Unfortunately the XT model requires popping a wheel off but it's still doable and a lovely pushchair. The carrycot would fit in the passenger seat but it's a squeeze.

I could squeeze in a group 0 car seat but there's not a lot of room. Also because it's rear fitting, baby would need to be put in the seat when its out of the car if that makes sense. I didn't get much of a chance to try the bigger car seats. Does anyone know which ones would fit?

The chrome is a nice pushchair, it'll fit if you take bits off, a wheel, maybe two.. It may fit with wheels on, can't be sure. What about a maxi cosi loola 2? That would fit in 1 piece, no messing around. I have an i10, I'm guessing the boot is a broadly similar size/shape.

My friend has a Fiat 500 and my Peach 3 fits in fine, you have to take off the seat to fold it anyway which is why it folds so small. She's got a Cybex which is a squeeze, my Pebble fits in a little bit easier.

I've got my eye on a Joie Chrome Plus system (because of price, the Bee is just too expensive for us). Anyone know if it fits in a 500? Even just the chasis?

If keeping the car I'd be tempted by one of the swivel 0+/1 seats like the duo fix.. Or the cybex sirona if I'm remembering correctly that it swivels? There's a maxi cosi one too, axiss-fix? That only rear faces to age two approx though where the others go through to more like 4.

Also, I had the bee cocoon so it was useable from birth.

We had a Bugaboo Bee which fit in the boot with the seat attached (but with no room for anything else!)

Maxi Cosi cabriofix (with bugaboo bee adapters) and easyfit base. However it was a squeeeeze pushing the car seat past the door rubber and tilted forward passenger seat. I lasted about 6months then got a bigger car, but I still miss my 500 and wonder if I could have just got on with it!

Not 100% sure but I think it's very unlikely you will get a pushchair frame and carrycot in the boot together. A babystyle oyster gem might fit. Things like the bee, easywalker mini or mosey, Loola 2, smallish single fold pushchairs will probably be okay.

I've got a bugaboo bee. Fits in the boot nicely (although you can't then get anything else in there!)
